Over the summer of 2018, a group of community members and MCHS Administration, with the assistance from the MCHS Board of Education, established the District #111 Foundation for Educational Excellence. 
The mission of our foundation is to inspire excellence, foster innovation, and nurture potential.

Goals include: Monetary support for the MCHS community through innovative initiatives, technology upgrades and capital improvement opportunities, Conduit for community members and alumni who wish to leave a legacy to MCHS, Honor tradition by recognizing our rich history, Strengthen community engagement through outreach and events.

District #111 Foundation for Educational Excellence awarded a grant of $10,000 to the Career and Technical Education Department (CTE) Monday, April 29, 2019 at the MCHS Board of Education meeting. The grant was awarded to help purchase Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality goggles to be used in classroom learning programs.
